Dr. Loretta Chen is a multifaceted and influential figure in the media, education, publishing, performing arts & cultural scene for over two decades. She was the People’s Choice for Nominated Member of Parliament and has been the International Consultant to the Kingdom of Bhutan since 2011. She is a passionate advocate for social equity — challenging the status quo through artistic, literary and entrepreneurial avenues. When the Metaverse came into play, Dr. Chen envisioned a unique opportunity to shape social narratives with technology. Through her latest venture, Smobler, she aims to create a Metaverse for Good to drive positive change, promote inclusivity and leverage emerging technologies to empower and inspire audiences across the globe. Dr. Chen is part of the AWS Women Founders Program, UBS Project Female Founder, a Top 100 Women of the Future, Forbes and Asia’s Most Inspiring, and Most Influential Fintech Voice in Singapore.

Mridhul Pax is an enterprise AI architect who has spent close to two decades building the infrastructure that large-scale software actually runs on. He has held long engineering and architecture tenures at enterprise technology companies including Cisco, VMware and Intuit, working across Linux systems, multi-cloud platforms, DevOps practice and enterprise software architecture for organisations operating at global scale. That foundation now underpins his work in applied AI: designing and shipping enterprise-grade AI systems, from production LLM platforms to the fine-tuning of small, purpose-built language models that give teams real capability without surrendering control of their data or their costs. At Smobler, Pax leads the technology behind the company’s products, translating ambitious creative ideas into architecture that holds up under real users. He believes the next wave of AI belongs to the people who can make it reliable, affordable and genuinely useful, and he builds accordingly.
