Unstoppable Domains and Smobler announce .SuperNOVA: a new digital identity for a global festival of collaboration
A dedicated top-level domain for the NOVA community, giving festival participants a portable digital identity across the Smobler ecosystem.
Unstoppable Domains — an ICANN-accredited registrar with over 4.5 million domains registered — announced a partnership with Smobler to launch .SuperNOVA, a new top-level domain celebrating collaboration across companies, communities and technologies.
The name is literal. A nova is a celestial event where a star suddenly becomes far brighter and appears as a newly visible star; .SuperNOVA is meant to spotlight the brilliance of collaboration between companies, between people, and between technologies like AI and Web3.
NOVA was born in 2023 as an official side event during TOKEN2049 Singapore and has since become a global festival, running from SXSW in Austin to Honolulu Tech Week in Hawai‘i. Each edition blends in-real-life gatherings with metaverse activations, and has hosted partners from Champ Medici and Agoria to Animoca Brands, AWS and PwC, alongside cultural showcases such as Singapore artist y/x’s “Light and Brilliance” exhibition for the Lee Kuan Yew centenary and Cobbleland: Austin.

The announcement landed ahead of NOVA’s return to Singapore for the nation’s 60th anniversary, presented by the New York Stock Exchange in collaboration with Gemini, Nifty Gateway Studio, Skadden, Michigan Ross Executive Education and Skypoly, with over 120 invited C-suite executives, founders, investors and regulators.
