Smobler expands into AI, blockchain and impact tech

Smobler set out publicly what the work had already become: an AI-first agency building intelligent products, blockchain infrastructure and enterprise automation. It is backed by Brinc and supported by ecosystem partners including Block71, Enterprise Singapore, IMDA and Plug and Play.

To carry the pipeline, Smobler appointed Mridhul Pax as chief technology officer. An engineering leader with over 18 years of experience, Pax has built AI applications, LLM platforms, GPU inference pipelines and blockchain validator infrastructure. Under him the studio’s AI work spans LLM fine-tuning and enterprise AI, generative content co-pilots, conversational and contextual AI, multilingual NLP chatbots, and predictive analytics.

Smobler was accepted into two of the industry’s most respected programmes. The Meta Llama Incubator — the first of its kind in APAC — gathers 40 start-ups and SMEs to build responsible AI products on Meta’s open-source Llama models, backed by IMDA, GovTech, AI Singapore, SGInnovate and Enterprise Singapore. NVIDIA Inception, a global network of more than 25,000 members, adds technical training, hardware and platform access, and industry connections.

The frontier work is deliberately applied. The FoodTech AI initiative, developed with the Wahiawā Value-Added Product Development Center — an initiative of Leeward Community College and the State of Hawai‘i — is a generative AI platform that helps food entrepreneurs and exporters automate nutritional labelling, HACCP compliance and certification.

With headquarters in Singapore and teams in Silicon Valley, Hawai‘i and Bhutan, the stated ambition is socially conscious AI deployed across industries, borders and communities — innovations as scalable as they are human-centred.
